In the event of a cheque not being banked we will hold the prize for a maximum of six months. A registered letter will be sent to the last contact address and a further 14 days will be allowed to respond. After this period the prize will be deemed to be forfeited and will be allocated to The National Kidney Federation as a donation. The draw will be conducted and approved by an independent person. Based on the average number of tickets sold in our raffles over the last two years, each ticket bought has a 1 in 800 chance of winning a prize. The likelihood of a supporter winning a prize will differ depending on the amount of tickets sold for the draw and how many tickets bought by the individual. Of the £11,446.91 received in ticket sales for The National Kidney Federation spring raffle in 2021, just £813.60 was spent on expenses, £2,000 on prizes and £8,633.31 came back to the Charity to fund our work supporting kidney patients and their families.
