A draft decision has been published on Thursday 16^th February 2023 by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) outlining their decision to not recommend Evusheld for use in the UK.

The National Kidney Federation are disappointed with this outcome. With COVID-19 variants rapidly evolving, the appraisal process should have been actioned far sooner, and an issue that was highlighted within the Evusheld4theUK campaign that we support.

We will continue to welcome the assessment for more research and expect NICE to develop a swifter process.
