Urinary Tract Infection in Children - What will happen after we visit the clinic?
The hospital will arrange for your child to have an ultrasound examination. This test does not involve any injections or x-rays but just some jelly on your child’s stomach and back. It enables the doctor to see the outlines of the kidneys and bladder. The hospital will write to you and your GP informing you of the result.
