NKF Supports CEAPIR SurveyThe NKF is supporting CEAPIR (the European Kidney Patients’ Federation) in a Europe-wide survey of the information and choice given to Kidney Patients in the course of their treatment.
CEAPIR is concerned whether enough information is given to patients to enable them to make informed choices and believes the survey will “raise awareness on lack of information about renal replacement options and reveal whether patient choice is secured”. By surveying across the whole of Europe they intend to enable patients to know where their countries stand in comparison to others which should enable patient charities to take note of best practice where it is found and press for corrective action in areas which fall short.

Please complete the ONLINE survey whenever possible as it will save the NKF the task of inputting paper versions into a computer itself. If anyone with a computer is willing to undertake some manual inputting of paper replies received by the NKF then do please contact the NKF on (0845) 601 02 09 as your help would be most welcome.
