The MRC Centre for Transplantation at King’s College London will lead an event at the British Science Festival this September entitled Extending the life of the transplant.
According to the organisers, the two-hour event will feature real life case studies, cutting edge scientific research, ethical debate and real world situations. It will be hosted by Vivienne Parry (BBC Radio 4’s Am I normal? and BBC TV’s Tomorrow’s World) and will feature Adrian Mole author Sue Townsend, plus leading scientists and clinicians from the MRC Centre for Transplantation. Tickets will cost £5.
The British Science Festival takes place every September. This year it will be in Birmingham and the Festival theme will be Better Lives through Science.
