Some links on this website are to Portable Document Format (PDF) files. These are often indicated by one of the following descriptions after the link itself:
97 Kb 24 secs@28.8 Kilobit per second OR
97 Kb, 26 pages.
In order to open this type of file your computer/PC will need to have the free download of Adobe Acrobat Reader (or an equivalent) installed. In many cases this Reader is already installed on new computers and is also incorporated in some browsers (eg Internet Explorer). If, however, you are unable to open this type of file it may be that you need to download Acrobat Reader.
To do this, click here (which will take you to the Adobe website) and follow the simple instructions then try opening the PDF file again (NB You may need to restart your computer and reconnect to the page containing the PDF file first).
Tips - If Acrobat Reader is installed on your PC/computer then, rather than opening the PDF file in your browser, you can save it directly to your computer to read at your leisure.
To save the file(s) directly to your PC hard disk rather than open them now, RIGHT CLICK on the link and then, on the drop down menu, click on ‘Save Target As’ (Internet Explorer) or ‘Save Link’ (Netscape/Opera). Mac Users should Option (alt) click on the link or hold down the mouse on the link until a contextual menu appears and then choosing ‘Download link to Disc’.
