Urinary Tract Infection in Children

WHY DO URINARY INFECTIONS MATTER?

Urinary infections can make your child unwell and may happen repeatedly. In a few children an abnormality of the kidneys or bladder is found that might need further treatment to stop the infections to prevent any harm to the kidneys. This is why at least one test is done to look at your child's kidneys and bladder when your child has had a UTI.
