The National Kidney Patient Charity
The NKF is the national Kidney Patient charity in the United Kingdom.
The Federation’s aim throughout the UK is to promote both the best renal medical practice and treatment, and the health of persons suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) or Established Renal Failure (ERF).
The NKF also supports the related needs of those relatives and friends who care for kidney patients.

NKF has teamed up with HealthUnlocked to provide three communities for people with CKD and carers to interrelate. Ask questions, tell your story in a blog, answer other people’s queries, or just read and absorb.
Join whichever suits you most, or all three, if you prefer. A new chance to get involved.
NKF distributes 2,000 copies of Black and Minority Ethnic Transplant Manifesto.
The National Kidney Federation is a charity, run by patients, for patients; it relies totally upon the generosity of those who support it. Without donations it cannot succeed, – with donations the lives of thousands of kidney patients and their carers can be improved.
