Cairns Private Hospital offers a Renal Dialysis service. The four chair unit is located within the hospital. Each chair has its own television set and our staff provide a friendly and efficient approach to treatment. Access to interpreters for non-English speaking people is provided.

Sharm Kidney Center, is a small but highly qualified Haemodialysis Unit only for European Tourists and is in Sharm el Sheikh / Sinai. It’s a branch of Prof. Dr. Zeid’s Nephrology Center in Alexandria with German management and the following of European standards: HIV or Hep. B or C positive patients can’t be admitted unfortunately.

Cancun is a recently opened dialysis unit offering sessions from Monday to Saturday, 8am to 2pm with English speaking staff. Dialysis is on Fresenius 4008 S machines, with double and single needle procedure, controlled volume ultra-filtration, sodium profile, making bi-carbonate (Bibag) treatment possible. Water is treated by the reverse osmosis system. The filters available are Fresenius S low and high-flux. Patients must be Hepatitis B & C and HIV negative.
