NKF conference 2005 - A Resounding Success!

The response to this year's NKF Conference held in Blackpool over the weekend
30th September to 2nd October has been a big thumbs up!

The panel of invited speakers addressed a packed conference hall and some thought provoking and well thought out questions kept everyone on their toes! Our thanks must go not only to each one of the excellent speakers for providing an exceptionally interesting programme of topics, perspectives and medical information, but also to the Conference Committee for pulling it all together for us!

During the weekend, throughout the various events and meal times, there was also much appreciation voiced of the hardworking and extremely polite staff at the Hilton Hotel in Blackpool who once again ensured our packed agenda progressed without a hitch and their 400 NKF guests were well looked after. The heavy Police presence on Sunday, we are told, had more to do with another conference scheduled for the following weekend than ensuring we were safely escorted off the premises – I doubt those delegates left Blackpool charged with as much information as we did!
