Conference Supported byFresenius (img 5K)
Fresenius Medical Care

A SPECIAL THANKS TO FRESENIUS FOR SUPPORTING THE NKF
The leader of the Fresenius team, Helen Thaw, with NKF chairman Gordon Nicholas. It is their support of the Conference that has helped to make Fresenius a household name amongst kidney patients.

NKF Annual Patients' Conference 2002, Dialysis and beyond - the Patients' View

More than 400 people attended the conference whose theme was Dialysis and Beyond ... The Patients' View. For the first time patients had been asked to give their views on what the speakers said.

Chairman, Gordon Nicholas, welcomed the delegates and asked for a short silence for kidney patients who were no longer with us and also for the victims of the Bali disaster.

Conference 2002 - Speeches Index

For each of the Speeches (and Question Time) there is a Summary Page (as appeared in the Spring 2003 edition of Kidney Life - the NKF Magazine) and a Detailed (or Full Transcript) Page. Some of the latter have photos/diagrams as shown at the Conference.
