NHS Medical Director writes to all Trusts about Implementing Task Force Recommendations

The NHS Medical Director, Professor Bruce Keogh, has written to all trust Chief Executives on the implementation of the Organ Donation Taskforce recommendations.

The letter notes that full implementation of the changes may take up to three years, and says that the DH is drawing up robust implementation plans, which will be made available shortly.  He notes that he will oversee implementation of the Taskforce recommendations, and Chris Rudge will lead on day-to-day implementation.
